National Disability Insurance Scheme


'The National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) Provides individual support for people living with a disability, their families and carers. This means the Participants can work on the different goals throughout their lives, leading to greater independence."

Sensory Tools are proud to be a Registered NDIS provider and look forward to supporting people to achieve their goals


 1) Look at your plan, Find out which categories your plan has

 If they have the following Budgets Sensory Tools can process your plan-

 Assistive Technology or Core Supports Consumables Budgets

To Claim the products you must have the above categories for Low Risk Equipment or Therapy Products

(Swings are not included unless written in your plan)

Please  Note- we CANNOT process any claims that fall under the Following Categories -

CB Daily Living

Daily Activities

Please contact  NDIS if you would require equipment under these categories


 2) Check whether that it says "NDIS will pay my provider directly for these supports"

 if it states this- follow the claiming process-




Here are the steps to be taken if you wish to claim resources from Sensory Tools using your allocated funding:

**Download and complete our specific NDIS Service Agreement form including a list of the resources you wish to purchase. (Add items to your cart online and print out the full cart and attach your entire cart with your Signed Service agreement)

**Please make sure that you attach a copy of your NDIS plan stating you have funding for the Low Risk Equipment or Therapy Products and if you can provide a letter of Recommendation from your Therapist.

Please note it may take up to 3 working days to process and send out

You may come in and visit our store, please note you will not be able to take goods home that same day

We will be in contact within 7 days if we are having issues with your plan.


3) If Your Plan states "NDIS will pay you directly for these supports" or you are Self Managed

You will need to request an invoice by sending an email and a copy of your online cart.We will then email an invoice for payment to be claimed from NDIS . We will send out goods once we receive payment.
